Waiting what seems like lifetimes
to discover a meaning to the conflict in me.
But when the void stared into me, I stared back.

Shedding light on my darkness
for the first time.
Falling to my knees,
in fire, I am baptized.

Suddenly everything was clear,
I would embrace this duality that I fear
To be consumed by the void and to disappear
Into the burning rage that brought me here.
